The Cedar Falls High School administration feels there are many former teachers, staff, administrators, and
graduates who feel the six traits of character embody the ideals of all Cedar Falls High School students and the community.
To get the community involved in this project, students, graduates, and parents of graduates, will have an
opportunity to support their school and its ideals by purchasing a memorial brick for $50.00. Each brick will have the student’s/graduate’s
name and graduation date engraved in the brick for the community to view many years into the future.
Former teachers, staff, and administrators in the district can also be honored by family and friends by purchasing
a brick to be engraved with their name, position and years of service. Only 2282 bricks are available to students, graduates,
and former teachers/staff/administrators and tiger boosters. The bricks will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
The Cedar Falls administration realizes there are many graduates who reflect on the importance the role their education at
Cedar Falls High School has played in forming their lives. This is an opportunity to give back to the school and be recognized
at the same time by giving their support to the “Building the Future, Recognizing the Past” landscaping project.
Extra funds gathered from the construction of the Six Pillars Plaza will determine the future of the third
project, an electronic message and events board located on the southeast corner of the school grounds along Division Street.
Keeping the community informed of activities and events within the school is important. Architects feel the placement of the
message board on the southeast corner of the school grounds would maximize the visibility and availability of school information
to the public.
